New crochet patterns : matching reversible hat & cowl in Milis by Julie Asselin

When Julie Asselin contacts you about designing crochet patterns with her yarns, first you jump up & down, then you say ‘HELL YEAH!’

So I’m super happy to introduce you to this pattern combo of mine: the SLOUCHY-SHELL hat & POLKADOT cowl, both reversible & worked in MILIS by Julie Asselin.

What’s this: This is the Polkadot Reversible Cowl & Slouch set.

Why should I make this: Don’t you like Polkadots?

Sample made with Milis by Julie Asselin. This yarn is a joy to work with with its vibrant colours & very generous yardage. With 1 skein of each of 2 colours, you will have more than enough of the Milis yarn to make the COWL and the HAT!

When will this get the most use: Whenever it gets chilly!

Who is it for: Choose school or team or favorite colour combos and make it for anyone.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and some INTENSE colour changing. You will need 230g of fingering weight yarn & a 3.75 mm hook to make the set. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

You can fin these patterns in all my pattern shops:
