I went to the very 1st Festival de la P’tite Laine

On Saturday, I was a happy artist invited to participate in the very 1st Festival de la P’tite Laine, in Saint-Antonin in the Lower Saint-Laurent region of Québec.

I went with my parents (who were a BIG help all through the event). We camped nearby. I’ll only gloss over the fact that the crows gave me quite a warm wake up call on Saturday morning.

Organized by Joane Dumont, the Festival brought together artists & artisans from all over the province.

My kiosk was busy all day! There is quite a bit of crochet interest in the Lower Saint-Laurent region. I met a few people I knew from my online world, and made new crochet friends. Shout out to my fellow crocheters from La Rose du Rang & Les Confections de Dame Ezeckielle.

Whenever you hear that I’ve been to an event, you also hear that I bought stuff. I did.

First from Mélie 4 Poches: a beautiful poncho & a pair of mittens, both made entirely of recycled fabric. I’m in love with Amélie & her creations!

From Artigina, I got this super practical mini pouch. I’ll know where my stitch markets & yarn needles are from now on.

Last, I got this apron from Inspirations de Mayya. Believe me, you’ll be seeing it at future events!

The event was definitely a success – gorgeous day, gorgeous region.

See you next year!
