I crocheted a Snowdrops necklace using Artyarns!

So here we go.  I made myself an end-of-year present.  This superb necklace is completely handmade as you’ll see below.

Ravelry project page: snowdrop necklace

To make this pretty necklace I used 1 skein of Artyarns beads & sequins… You might think that this yarn would be horrible to work with, but nope.  It’s super soft, and the beads & sequins are not at all hard on hands.  The yarn flows nicely over the hook, too.  Go fall in love with this hand-painted yarn!

Used a wooden hook to have a completely decadent experience!

And… I added a handmade ceramic button (1 of 3 I bought at Festival TWIST this summer).  Since it is pretty heavy, I added felt to solidify the yarn prior to attaching it.

If you have some luxurious yarns around, or something very pretty but in a weird quantity, I highly recommend this shawl pattern (Snowdrop shawl, free on Ravelry).  You can work it with any size yarn / wool, and work it up to any length.  You can make the smallest piece of jewelry or the widest shawl.. whichever you like!
