INGREDIENTS



Yarn:
Sister Silk by Heaven’s Hands (100% Mulberry silk)
50g (131 yds; 120 m)
x 2 skeins



Hook: 4 mm



Notions: 1 button, yarn needle; stitch marker



Gauge:
20 sts x 14 rows = 4 ’’2 (10 cm2)
Based on:
Instructions for scarf

One size

ch (chain)
hdc (half-double crochet)
st (stitch)
rep (repeat)
ea (each)
inc (increase): 2 hdc in indicated space
dec (decrease): hdc2tog over indicated sts



Notes & special stitches:
Starting ch 1 does not replace 1st st.







INSTRUCTIONS
Ch 2 to start



Row 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn. (1st)
Row 2: Ch 1, inc in only st. Turn. (2sts)
Row 3: Ch 1, inc in 1st st, hdc in ea st across. Turn. (3sts)
Row 4: Ch 1, hdc across to last st, inc in last st. Turn. (4sts)
Rows 5-9: Rep rows 3 & 4 twice, rep row 3 once more. (9sts)
Row 10: Ch 1, hdc in 1st st, *ch 1, sk 1, hdc in next. Repeat from * across. Turn.
Row 11: Ch 1, inc in 1st st, hdc in ea st and ch across. Turn. (10sts)
Rows 12-19: Rep rows 4 & 3 four times. (18sts)
Row 20: Rep row 10, but end last rep with hdc in last 2 sts. Turn.
Row 21: Rep row 11. (19sts)
Rows 22-29: Rep rows 4 & 3 four times. (27sts)
Rows 30-31: Rep rows 10 & 11. (28sts)
Rows 32-39: Rep rows 4 & 3 four times. (36sts)
Rows 40-41: Rep rows 10 & 11. (37sts)
Rows 42-45: Rep rows 4 & 3 twice (41sts)
Row 46: Rep row 10.
Row 47: Ch 1, hdc in ea st and ch across. Turn.
Rows 48-55: Rep rows 46 & 47 four times. (41sts)
Rows 56-59: Ch 1, hdc across. (41sts)
Rows 60-69: Rep rows 46 & 47 five times. (41sts)
Row 70: Ch 1, hdc across to st before last, dec over last 2 sts. Turn. (40sts)
Row 71: Ch 1, dec over 1st 2 sts, hdc across. Turn. (39sts)
Rows 72-74: Rep rows 70 & 71 once. Rep row 70 once more. (36sts)







Row 75: Rep row 10, but end last rep with 2 hdc in last st.
Row 76: Ch 1, hdc in ea st and ch to st before last, dec over last 2 sts. Turn. (35sts)
Rows 77-84: Rep rows 70 & 71 four times. (27sts)
Row 85: Rep row 10.
Row 86: Rep row 76. (26m)
Rows 87-94: Rep rows 70 & 71 four times. (18sts)
Rows 95-96: Rep rows 75 & 76. (17sts)
Rows 97-104: Rep rows 70 & 71 four times. (9sts)
Rows 105-106: Rep rows 85 & 86. (8sts)
Rows 107-114: Rep rows 70 & 71 four times. (1st)



Finish off & weave ends in.
Sew button to one end, and button through spaces at opposite end.
