The life of an overachieving procrastinator, June 2016

Aussi en / Also in frFrançais

Oh hi!

It’s kind of funny writing this June recap so soon after the one for May, but I guess that’s my own fault with how much I procrastinated with this last month =)

June was a good, busy month, full of interesting projects!

In June, the Libellule MCAL crocheters worked hard to complete their shawl. This week, those who did are posted on Facebook. Check it out and vote for your favorites before July 8!

In June, I published 2 new patterns: the Estelle market bag (through the fantastic team at YarnCrush) & the Bella sun hat (published in the most recent Happily Hooked Magazine).

My Pétunia is going to be part of the July The Pattern Pack – with all new photos by Emily Truman.

Objetives 2016 – June

• Nurture relationships; meet new people; go to more events.

#bethecrochetchange & Featured fiber artist are still in full swing, happily!

• Limit engagements to major events or, whenever not, to appropriate channels.

No choice but to do this in June. Completely booked!

• Publish 2 e-books

Not yet.

• Develop more revenue streams (translation, workshops, contributions, pattern sales, etc.)

I gave a cool friendship bracelet workshop to a great group of preteens. Bonus: my daughter co-taught! I love giving workshops!

• Publish 2 new patterns per month. Create 1 branded item for sale.

In June I published 2.5 patterns.

Add all free patterns to; edit & republish older patterns; retire inactive patterns.

Happy summer crochet!!

Julie xx
