Description

What’s this: This is the Peek-a-blue pullover. It is my 6th design for Design Wars.

Why should I make this: Peek-a-blue is a sleeveless, open-backed, versatile pullover (it can totally be worn with the opening in the front) that is quickly crocheted and will easily take you through Spring and Summer. Wear it over a tank top or swimsuit on the weekend, or over a dress at work.

When will this get the most use: During the Spring & Summer months.

Who is it for: Sized XS to XL.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches & colour changing. You will need 410g of worsted weight yarn (used  here, Goshen by Valley Yarns (200g main colour, 100g ea of 2 complementary colours, and 10g of a contrast colour)) & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
