Description

What’s this: This is the Sorbet Shawl.

Why should I make this: Sorbet was created solely to allow me to play with these fantastic Artyarns (really, the word decadent was invented for this yarn).

With 1 skein of ensemble light & less than 1 skein of beaded silk & sequins you get a fantastic shawl that looks much more complicated than it actually is.

Despite the beautiful child in the pictures, this is definitely a shawl for adults wanting to spoil themselves =)

When will this get the most use: Year-round.

Who is it for: Lace-loving people! Decadent-yarn-loving people!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – You’ll need to be comfortable with crochet. You will need 80g of the softest DK weight yarn you can find, and 50g of beaded DK weight yarn (used here Artyarns ensemble light & Artyarns beaded silk & sequins) & a 4 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
