Description

What’s this: These are the Joséphine socks. They were originally published in the August 2016 issue of Happily Hooked magazine.

Why should I make these: Because crochet socks are a LOT of fun to make (really), and the texture of these make them a perfect, quick gift for your feet or someone else’s.

When will these get the most use: Whenever you get cold feet!

Who are they for: These are sized Women’s 9-10-11, and easily adjustable.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches, as well as post stitches and heel shaping. You will need 100g of fingering weight yarn (used  here, MadelineTosh Twist light) & a 3 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
