Description

What’s this: This is the Key Lime Slouch. It is my 3rd design for Design Wars.

Why should I make this: This hat can be worn in many different ways to suit different personalities: ears & brim up, ears down & brim up, or on the coldest days, ears & brim down. The design is also school-colour appropriate. This is the perfect unisex, multi-generational hat.

When will this get the most use: Whenever it gets chilly!

Who is it for: Every single person on your list! Sized 18” to 22”.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches & colour changing. You will need 300g of bulky weight yarn (used here, Heads Up by Red Heart Yarns) & a 6 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
