You’ve heard of Knitcrate but aren’t sure if it’s for you? Let’s take a look inside my November Knitcrate so that you can be convinced it is! If you are, code ACCRO20 will help you save on a new subsription at knitcrate.com
The theme for this month is Beneath the waves. The yarn colours and patterns are all inspired by the extraordinary life lived under the sea.
Above, you see what I received. Here are more details about everything that’s included:
MEMBERSHIP CRATE REVIEW
YARN: The yarn this month is Knitologie Glowing Worsted – a 40% Merino, 30% Silk blend. I loved finding these neutral skeins in my box this month. The yarn is super squishy and soft.
2 other colourways were sent out : Betta (Red) and Sea (Blue). I’m actually pretty partial to Shoreline, the colour I received.
INSPIRATIONS MAGAZINE: The magazine includes pictures of the sock yarns sent to SOCK CRATE subscribers, which are stunning again this month: Coral – self explanatory, Depths – deep blue/purple, and Anglerfish – beautiful grey.
PATTERNS: The crochet patterns this month are by Katya Novikova (pictured: Antidunes cowl) – which I will definitely be making, and by Petra Machova Kourilova (Wavy Coral Socks).
GOODIES: This month’s crate included 3 black tea infusions from Ahmad Tea – which is neat since I am definitely back into drinking tea a lot this fall.
See you next month !
