Description

What’s this: This is my new Rain Socks crochet pattern.

Why should I make these: This is one of my most intricate socks to date. I thoroughly enjoyed working the texture of the main stitch, and the relative relaxation that came when working the dense soles =) Mimicking rain boots, these long socks with boot handles at the top will make you forget this very wet 2017 Spring!

When will these get the most use: These are perfect for lounging around, or out and about. Make sure to indulge and for show off your beautiful hand-dyed sock yarns.

Who are they for: Pattern is offered in 3 sizes: (F4-6 shoe) 9’’/22.5cm, (F7-9 shoe) 10’’/25cm, (F10-12 shoe) 11’’/27.5cm.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Advanced – you’ll need to be comfortable with intricate stitches. You will need between 100 and 200g of Fingering or Light DK sock yarn (used here, Miss Farfelue), a 4mm hook, and a 4.5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
