The slight bend really helps maneuver the needle through tight spaces, especially helpful for amigurumi. I do wish there was an even smaller and/or more bent size for making tiny amigurumi keychains, but for what this product is advertised as, it's good.
Stitch markers for scale in the photo. The holes are easy to thread, even fluffy yarn. These do not feel like they would bend with use.
