Why should I make this: This shawl/shawlette is easy but doesn’t look it, and can be made as small or as big as you like.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Beginner – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches. You will need at least 100g of fingering weight yarn (used here, Leizu Fingering by Julie Asselin & a 3.5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
