Ruched, cowl

What’s this: This is the Ruched Cowl. It was designed for the June Yarn Crush Box.

Why should I make this: Lace weight yarn can be scary to new crocheters, but in this project you work with lace weight yarn held double, and a bigger hook, in order to tame your fears!

When will this get the most use: Whenever you need a bit of warmth!

Who is it for: O/S to fit just about anyone!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Easy – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches, increases, and decreases. You will need 115g of lace weight yarn (used here, Riverside Studio Superwash Merino Cashmere Nylon Lace in DUSK) & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
