Description

What’s this: This is the Wavelength Cowl. It was originally designed for the May 2019 Knitcrate Partner crate featuring Malabrigo.

Why should I make this: This stitch pattern is one of my very favorites. It’s not the 1st time (or the last time) I use it. It really makes the yarn pop, and benefits from natural fibers and their ability to block beautifully. The resulting cowl is a masterpiece you can show off all year long.

When will this get the most use: Whenever you need an all-day hug!

Who is it for: Just about anyone!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate – you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches, colour changing & post stitches. You will need 100g of worsted weight yarn in each of 2 colours (used here, Malabrigo Dos Tierras) and a 5 mm hook. Other notions: 7 1’’ buttons, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
