Slow Crochet: it’s my turn!

In January I launched #slowcrochet. The goal? To finally take some time for you after the craziness of the holidays & all of those presents you worked on day & night for your loved ones.

For this first edition, I chose a pattern from Akroche Tatuk & one of her ready-to-crochet kits – so I could really rest up. The bonus? This colour combo goes by unicorn poop.

As you can see, the kit includes yarn, buttons & the pompom. The kit got to me really quickly & well-wrapped. The pattern was purchased separately. AkrocheTatuk on Etsy.

I had a launch of fun with this – I left everything else aside and focused on me! Not that I crocheted that many gifts, but I am always on a pattern-writing deadline!

I did ask for help… Julie-Laine totally showed up for this! (I got my doll made for me by Karine of La Rose du Rang but you can make your own with her pattern.)

The pattern was well-written, easy to follow, and then at the end of the month I had a super cool kit just for me! What do you think? And what do you think of the #slowcrochet movement?
